I definitely want long, not tall. Tall tanks have never appealed to me.
I found my 75gal on craigslist. There was a woman wanting to trade her 75 for a 30 long. I still miss my 30 since it was a beautiful tank, but man, I couldn't miss a deal like that!

I like the way you think!I told him yesterday that I'm going to save up for a larger tank ane he smiled and asked how much longer would the tank be compared to the 75 and what size? Wooo hooo!

Try to think positive, you never know, could be like my neighbors boat during Ike, just sitting there unharmed.
I hope Ken is ok too! I've grown very fond of you all in a short time.

No problem.
Many people lost their fish a few weeks ago after the big rain. They learnt the hard way.

Yes. After a big rain, the city is known to double, triple, quadruple dosage on the chemical for water treatment to keep it safe for human comsumption. This results in high concentration of Chlorine, Chloramine, other unknown chemicals in the water that is not friendly to fish.
It's best to wait a couple days after the rain to do water change. If you have a carbon bottle, it helps remove these contaminant and you can do wc as usual.
