well i wasnt being personal with my 'let go' comment, hoo. i was just saying thats my general philosophy. obviously some people have allowed the issue to get under their skin and thats why this thread has gotten to four pages. i know the feeling myself so i 'try' to not allow someone elses personality get in my life. well, at least after a b***h about it one or twice lol.

Kinda late to the party there! There's nothing to let go because nothing was held. Anyways, it seems like he read the thread and is taking the advice from the knowledgeable members now instead of ignoring them. Only time will tell what will happen next!

i kinda look at this the same way i look at giving the dude on the street corner a few bucks. is he going to misuse the cash and not use it for food? likely. so should i just not give it to him even though i feel that i should? no thats not the answer, if someone asks for help and you feel compelled to help then thats all that you can do. what they do with the cash, or advice, is not within your control so you need to just let it go.

Yeah... johnnymisty said it already, but I wasn't the main one giving advice (since I know nothing of saltwater). It was mostly the members who actually have had and dealt with sw for a while or at least a good amount of time to base their advice from. I do know a little bit though, like the fact that all the equipment he was looking to buy required a sump and the kiddo said he couldn't have a sump...

Let's hope he went back to those closed threads and took some of the good info given to him.
