There appearance can be disceiving some days. But my male is always happy to see I came home and didn't leave him forever. Its a daily event. When I have to go to work out of town, my wife puts him in one of my tshirts so he'll stop crying.

lolo (my rottie) is my 6 year old's best friend, too. he literally does flips over her, wrestles with her, tries to ride her, too! she's not quite 2 yet and weighs in a 97lbs! she's my late night couch buddy...

I can't get in bed with out mine laying down on me. The wife and I are going to be getting a king size bed just so we can have more room. Both dogs will sleep on the backs in bed. I still wonder who's training who some days.....

ah, see. here's where my well-rounded animal lover comes out. there's a baby gate at the foot of the stairs so the cats can go up or down but no dogs upstairs. that way we sleep in peace and she stays where she can guard us... she's too big for the bed! and the kitties get sanctuary.

No cats allowed here. Wife is allergic. And no offense but there just not favored. Except by my daughter who loves all animals, especially cows for some reason....my poor fish, she's darla from finding nemo. Even yells at the fish after the lights go out "fishy....why are you sleeping!!!!"
