Is this a sago palm? If so, I just want to warn you and everyone else out there to be VERY CAREFUL with this plant.

This plant was suspected in my dog's death a little over 2 years ago. We never did find out what definitively caused it, even the guys at A&M after her necropsy couldn't say for certain. But please, please be careful. It's such a common plant these days, and not many people are aware of the danger it poses. Thanks.

Oh, I wish we could take Sandy to a dog park! She doesn't play well with others. Basically no-one outside the family. We didn't socialize her well enough as a puppy. She would murder all the dogs, people, and squirrels there.

Here is Daisy when she was a puppy...Now she is full grown at 2.5 yrs old and weighs about ~85 lbs. Our Dalmation was the runt of the litter...she is 8 years old and weighs in at ~30 lbs...she is also the alpha dog...lol. Both are spoiled and sleep under blankets at night like a person would.
