Thanks, Mark. I really was asking in all truthfulness. My coworker and I are together for 2 days out of the week, and he's really into things such as this, and it's made me curious.

I just hope you're not saying you want the right to shoot the knucklehead who ran you off the freeway.

MB, a lot of folks, me included, feel that registering your guns is the first step in them being confiscated the first time a politician says it's in the nation's interest to take our guns.

Obviously keeping guns secured away from kids is the proper thing to do and no one in his right mind would say otherwise.

Some of the other things though...submitting to psychoanalysis at the whim of the AG? Who pays for that? ...and what if I'm pissed off that day cuz I almost got ran off the freeway on the way to the appointment by some idiot reading a book on the steering wheel? Does a shrink decide that I have anger issues and can't own a gun?

Gun control is a slippery slope and can quickly turn into a situation where the only people who own guns are the crooks.

I don't see this passing. Its way too incompasing, and would be so bad economically that it can't pass

And the founders of this country wanted us to have the ability to protect ourselves from the Politicians with the mentality "I'm from the government and I'm here to help"

I don't think we need someone to ride a mule to the capital and cast a vote for us anymore.
