Yes, a lot of members live on the North side of town. I live on the Southwest side, but grew up on the Southeast side. There were very few fish stores down there...even back then. I used suggestions from members AND google to try and find all the LFS in the area and even google didn't give much back on the Southside.
If anyone knows any LFS in the South side, please post here so I can add them to the map.

Ah, I was wondering why 1800-seahorse looked to be so close to Fish Ranch II! Yes, they go by Fish Ranch, though they haven't got their big sign back up after Ike ruined it :(Originally posted by imagirlgeek View PostOH! I didn't know they went back to that name! I thought they were still calling themselves 1800-SeaHorse.

Jungle Jim's is a fine little local pet store - Patrick is a great help.Originally posted by alexarae View PostHow are those stores, Bob?
I am thinking about going to them next week. I didn't know they were there.
They have a good selection of the more common fish, even some saltwater (puffer too) and birds, mice, dog grooming etc,
Aqua Zoo is like your grandmothers attic. Follr to Ceiling, packed with so much stuff it's hard to turn around. Good selection and good prices.
But it is hard to find so they are moving to a better location. They are not open on Mondays or before noon, so call before you make the trip and get directions.
