Sounds like just about any place you buy GBR and clowns.

    +1

Better to start from the ground up in a different location.

They aren't as well stocked as I remember (pre-obama) but not as bad as everyone made it out to be.

They had a few oddballs/monsterfish babies for really cheap which was something cool to see outside of everyone's bread&butter.
How was the salt water and plant selection?

I used to stick up for this place, they weren't much different than a lot of the chain stores (not a great defense, but hey. I know it's hard to find good help and all, and a lot of LFS get stuck in a niche that ends up being boring/saturated market/whatever.) But it's gone downhill lately, and bad. We were there yesterday, just swung by to kill time, and it was sickening. Tanks were filthy, even worse than normal, several were half drained and looking like they'd been that way quite a while...saw dead fish, fish with open wounds and one with a huge tumor...the rest look stressed and terrible. I didn't see one thing in there I would have put down money on.

And then I saw the last fahaka they have from their shipment awhile ago...it's about 3'' maybe, and looks like a skeleton with leather stretched over it. Never seen a fish so starved and sad. He needs rescued, if I had a tank for him I couldn't have left him there. Just couldn't. Damn, it was hard. I've never liked how they keep that Mbu, the condition of the store made me sad yesterday, but man. That puffer drove me to the drink with the sadness. I won't be going there anymore.

Hopefully someone will buy this place and make it into something wonderful. The sooner the better.

it would be cool if someone did turn it around, there is pretty much NOTHING on the N-NE side of town and only a couple places on the NW

huh thats a lil odd. Guess his business isn't doing so well lately.
