Yea slowly my danios disappeared, they either jumped or got snagged. Not really sure which though lol. I cruise petco looking for their specials too, like 5 tetras for $5, I buy ten and toss them in lol. Sounds cruel but keeps my pufferman on his toes.

She looks gorgeous!! I've always wanted to get a puffer but currently don't have room. Does she ever puff up?

Thank you, she's a *little* flushed and sulky here (rough week with the blackout and W/C, lol) but I think she's purty...mommas love, you know. She very rarely does a random "practice puff", the kids have seen it a couple of times but I've only caught the deflating part once.

So, way past time for an update!
We were fighting the worst case of cyanobacteria I'd ever seen, it was gawd awful. Did a full black out for 4 days, took off the quad, adjusted the light schedule, and now it looks better than new...I am so happy to have it looking good again!



I lost a little flame moss due to the Blob, and the anubias is less than happy, but it'll come back.


Good news is, the swords are still kicking arse.


The crinium and 'temple bells' hygro are doing really well, too.



And Suki is getting monstrous, of course. She loves chasing those Danios and SAE's around, but it doesn't seem to be doing much for her waistline...lol

That's beautiful. I'm setting up same tank size for Discus. I have enjoyed reading this thread and have lots of questions but for now let's may just say beautiful gorgeous setup. Love the wood.

I had her pegged at 10'' before the move...you'll see when we get you here in person. Keep in mind the camera's at an angle and Suki is curling up a bit in that shot.

great looking tank! How big is Suki? It is crazy how quick the fahakas grow mine is getting big fast.

Thanks! Roy was laughing at me giving her a new "corrected" size...I think it wasn't until I saw her really stretch out in the 150, I can say she's probably 12'' or so, now. They do grow so fast. I got her a year ago at maybe 5''.
