I've been doing daily 100% constant water change, I run the carbon bottle and drain for about 4hrs a day. No problems so far, been doing this for a really long time now, only close call was during the winter on the 30g which I had the temp drop about 15-20deg before I noticed but even then it was ok cause I got like 3 females holding right after.

I use Amquel+plus and will say and give mad props to it cause I think it's what makes the difference.

I am surprised that you don't get any accidental deaths on the 100 + % water changes. I had a guy just lose his 5 year collection of Mobas over here due to a massive water change that he didn't keep his eye on. I would be scared even with a carbon snake,but that's just me.
