Yeah I am sure he will get to that point.

Just wonder if I should starve him some to speed up the process but right now I like watching him eat.

it should eat it eventually...when it gets hungry...
you should see random disappearing fish once it gets big...
mine took out a few trohpeus, a few geos...a few featherfins...and a whole bunch of other fishes that swims slow lol...like pleco is very dangerous...

ya i remember it was fun to watch at the size of yours, it really did have tactics.
once the mbu gets to the size of mine, it's just like one bite thing lol...
i feed mine mostly large frozen shrimps and NLS, it would just take too many NLS to make mine full now...

Yeah I don't plan on feeding him this stuff too often, just once and a while to see his tactics against the crawfish and their mighty claws!
I have a tub of mystery snails I am gut loading and a bag of raw shrimp in the freezer I am stuffing with NLS for his daily diet.

3mm is kinda of small, i am still feeding mine pellets, i think they are 8mm or 10mm, and its floating...
the large size ones should preventing the tropheus from taking them, and since its floating, if the mbu go for it, other fish should back off...

Yeah I posted about feeding NLS on another forum and they weirdos over there criticized it as well... some people will never learn.

I want to starve him or not feed him as much so he gets use to me feeding it and like you said, see the the trophs eat and want to join them but I like seeing fish eat and have a hard time refraining from feeding.

I picked up a pho to-go cup worth of 3mm Thera+A from thai the other day so I'm good. You aren't feeding your MBU pellets anymore?

surprised that someone liked my idea lol...
it caused major debate and whole bunch people was criticizing me when i posted it on puffer forum lol...
they said i work for NLS and was trying to promote NLS lol...

maybe you dont even need to use the way i did, you have a whole bunch tropheus in there, put some big floating NLS in the tank, the mbu might eat it eventually when he see the tropheus and other fish going for it lol...
if you want some big floating NLS i can give you some, i still have maybe half a bucket left lol..
