Oh man. Guess I better wait on getting them for my 8 gal nano cube or just wait til the plants grow in all crazy.

Well my plants are growing back in very quickly so that might be an issue. But I have a ton of rock and caves and drift wood for them to hide and hunt in.

Funny thing is the four of them all hang out together. They haven't shown any signs of what sex they are yet still pretty young.

The dead puffer was pretty beat up and looked like he/she was ganged up on....

I have noticed that PP can get very aggressive and territorial if they have line of sight, but that a densely planted tank will allow far more PP then one that is sparse. Was it a male/male squabble? I know the females can get viscious as well. I have noticed that each puffer is very different in attitude as well. Our smaller female runs our older female and she is half her size, they both eat different food and will not even try what the other eats. One eats RCS and the other ignores them. Truly an individual fish

So their was a murder in my tank last night LOL... Four pp puffers left they look chubby healthy and are getting along...

It will be replanted once im done treating the ich. Will have 2 types of tall plants.

Since I am treating the tank for ich. I decided to take all the wisteria out and redo the hard scape. So far the puffer with the ich shows no more signs of Ich and is doing well. Once I am done treating for the ich I am going to plant some new Wisteria and some kind of Val...

Ok I guess Im giving up on puffers for now. I'd rather buy a bunch of trophs for $200. Ha!

I don't remember, it was small but body wise it was probably only 2"
