A warning if you're interested in dwarf puffers

True, but you would think that if more than one person calls them on it then they would listen. But instead they made up a whole new story up for this fish. I was told it was another type of "dwarf" and would lonly get to be 1 1/2" inches. I walked away. If you don't know then fine, don't make stuff up.

I've also known them as Bronze Puffers, Neon Green Puffers, Green Puffers, and Green Bottle Puffers.
Fish Ranch 2 once sold them as "Freshwater Trigger Fish" in one tank and Neon Green Puffers in another tank.

i'm glad to hear that they are doing so well...i miss them alot....but i know they are being well taken care of and loved where they are.....

Yeah, I went there today. Golden puffers they are, or as the sales person "a differant variaty of dwarf puffer" groan

Noticed a few days later that their bellies were really full and my tetras fins were torn to shreads.

I think puffers do the exact opposite of what it is you want them to do. We tried to feed ours guppies (sorry guppy-lovers ) and now we just have a gazillion guppies living fat and happy on bloodworms and sharing tankspace with the puffers. However, I have no doubt that if we were to try to have a fish live peacefully with the puffers in a community setting, the puffers would eat them.

Yep i bought three of these guys as juveniles from Fish Gallery.
