    Are your amanos eating size? You could wrap the dish in the body wash sponge netting, that would allow the smaller shrimp to go in and out but keep the amano from getting to it.

    LoL, I was considering one of those but then thought to myself... if all my shrimp piled into that and either gobies or halfbeaks go ape**** then the shrimp would become an easy target.

    You get the sample foods he was offering with those?

    to the amano post they aint hard to breed done it like 5 times got too confident on breeding them that i sold most then neglected my tank and was only left with a few

    there are some great post on how to breed IMO wanna breed them get a group of like 15

    yeah no baby amanos unless you have brackish so no cross breeding worries. they are very active tho so i can see them competeing for food aggressively. they are more interesting to watch than dwarfs imo, and can be pretty when colored up with algae inside. the fellow who donated the ones to the GHAC auction took them out of his tanks because he suspected that they might be taking his chili rasboras. he didnt supplement their food and his aquaria are pretty algae free now. he never saw an attack but its something to always consider. nature finds a way.

    i will try 1 amano then when i see them. i my assassins nor rcs are cleaning the botton and i dont have an otto cat with them.
