How long is your longest wall? I would make my tank 2ft less than length of the wall and have a foot on each side of free space. Center it.

Sounds like 2ft of wasted space to me....

Decide to what type of fish you want in your fish room first... then build the room around the fish.

I still have the mosaic flooring. Good for fish tanks, bad when people have expectations that you should not be walking on concrete inside the house. The tile to concrete transition is not smooth & there's no rug to tie the room together, lol. I really need to have someone come out and look at it, I'm just afraid of how many zero's it's gonna have behind it to fix this foundation.

Lol, they will like it out here. The schools are awesome. I'm in Pinecrest which is on the front side of Three Lakes; between the Silverado & Parkway. Been here since '99.
