Very nice tank Mark, looks like you gave them ideal conditions. No wonder they're breeding for you.

Cool fish. They look too evolved for me. They look like they'll take your finger and bite it off then laugh at you.

Been a long time without any updates... sorry y'all. The tank houses three species of hillstream loach and four species of goby. It's been rearranged a little since the initial setup and the plants have grown a lot. Finally got the algae to grow too...

It is a good sign that they are zooming around eating.... I could watch them all day especially when they start getting territorial.

OK, new developement...
Yesterday after work I noticed a new baby ABN, about 1/2" long. Crap! they spawned again! So I had to change my game plan. The hillstreams are now in the 125 and the daddy ABN, Mr. Stickerface, and around 50 fry are in the QT tank. On the upside, the hillstreams are running around nomming on every algae-covered surface of the tank. So much for having a well-thought-out plan... or at least what I considered a well-thought-out plan.

They eat constantly it seems like so if they stop eating and just hide something is wrong lol

10-4 good buddy. Temp is around 75 and they'll get daily partials if needed.Originally posted by sunkenmetal View PostThey are fast and a blast to watch... Just watch the temperature and water parameters.
