That filter and all that filter floss and purigen is the bomb. Woke up the lights came on and the water is crystal clear... I love purigen...

This is true until I move the loclines around lol then it moves the sand again.

The rocks should help break up the flow a bit so it wont be like a jet stream in there... Sand will still move around and the fish I want are diggers so things will change... I like the sand moving around makes it look more natural...

    Eheim 2262 installed

The UPS man finally showed up with my filter and media...

Not much new just a big canister filter. This is my first big Eheim so when I open the box I was like WTF where is the pump lol. I didn't know you had to put it together. But I managed to finger it out...

For Media I did from bottom to top.

    Eheim Ehfi Mech

    Eheim Ehfi Fix

    Seachem Matrix

    A layer of filter floss

    2 liters of Seachem Purigen

    A layer of filter floss

I am thinking about later using Perot Foam in the 2262 and river manifold prefilter...

The flow with both the river manifold and the canister filter is pretty nice. Still might get a mp40.

The flow has moved the sand around pretty nicely once it all settles in and I get some rocks I will start the scape.

I also added another foam to the manifold intakes. I am kinda paranoid sand is gonna get to my pump but none has gotten to it. Just my paranoia...

    Pictures....
