hmm the river manifold is a good setup. i tried something similair for australian rainbowfish. i made an intake and return grid on the oopposite walls of a 55 gallon. the spraybar was a rectangle with ports all around and the intakes were four strainers on the grid. it worked okay i guess, this seems like a better idea though. plus mine were freaking ugly.

Mini-jack. My Mom's 2 houses up neighbor was the Oceanic ATC supervisor on the board during 9-11. They had to take in all the air traffic in the North Western Atlantic airspace that was unable to divert to Iceland or Ireland. They landed 38 jumbo jets in a few hours at an airport with relatively few personal, but fortunately an extensive runway network. 7000 plane people refugees taken in by a town of 12,000 population.

For the benefit of those who missed this earlier thread by sunkenmetal http://www.houstonfishbox.com/vforum...river+manifold If you read through it you will understand what a river manifold system is, why he wants to do it and some options on how to approach it. So in the interest of offering sukenmetal best constructive critcism or comments on his intial build design, I would suggest folks read up on it first. Its an uncommon set up, and makes for an interesting read.

So I am thinking maybe just two holes in the tank and just plumb the filters off the river tank manifold
