I might look into it more because I wanted to make a large oddball tank for the living room which is why I wanted a ray. I was gonna end up getting a 250 or 300 (probably make a custom acrylic tank because I had success with my DIY sump )

Don't give up on it. I know fish gallery sells the Florida stingrays. I'd research them and if there straight fresh which I'm pretty sure they are, I could see keeping them.

I'm not the best with stingrays. When I found out I couldn't keep the type I wanted I dropped that dream. I have read I people keeping them in fresh water for many years but again, I'm no expert.
