One word: The Amazon. Well that's two words.
It would be awesome as planted with some old black wood. Ask Tom Barr about co2 and overflows. They work, just don't have Niagara falls back there. I love reef, but just got done with it, it's a huge time commitment and the water change process sucks. Looks like a 90p. Beautiful tank by the way and congratulations on whatever you decide to do.

It seems like most think this should be a SW tank, while a few think a FW planted tank is in order. I'm leaning towards Nick's idea at the moment.

yeah, this is going to need to be saltwater. With an overflow, CO2 planted tanks are totally impractical. The thought of an ada cichlid tank made me cry, vomit, and have the runs all at the same time (possibly the worst thing ever).
your transformation to the dark side is almost complete...
with that said. Dwarf seahorse, H. zosterae would be cool. Get like 5 pairs. Put in some gorgonians, some super rare/fancy zoas, and go from there.Last edited by Sea-agg09; 07-14-2011, 07:41 AM.
