Discus vs Trophs/Petros

I, too, feel it should be just about Tropheus vs. Discus. But, unfortunately, we didn't get to make the rules. :(

Yellow rams and German rams to an extent. But Apistos i should say are the rarer ones. Cacatuoides, McMasteri, Viejita, and many more are expensive and few and far between.

How rare? I see rams at every LFS I go to in Houston....

I dont like your rules Nick totally arbitrary the thread is troph v discus. Discus should be allowed to have dwarf cichlids. Since by your rules Petros are allowed because they are rare and kept with Trophs by most keepers. Well a lot of discus keepers keep Apistos or Rams and they are rare as well.

Sorry, Angelfish do not count. They are not considered "ultimate" or the King/Queen of tropical fish....
Petros I lump with trophs, because many troph owners have both and are treated with the same reverence as trophs. Petros are not commonly seen in LFS.

I took the total page number into consideration, but I also took into consideration all the tropheus people that have not posted their stock.

I'm guessing we only at 5% of tropheus/petros posted.

11) And a number of other people with less variants: supadave, navarro, lawboy, jeebus, j-ws6, gottigs, cesar, jesper, mgarrido, and yours truly.

This list is not in any particular order of importance or anything, and I'm sure it's incomplete. It's just want I could come up with off the top of my head.
