Electric blue rams would bring in some dough, but the fact that the tank is only a 20 Long will reduce the amount I can comfortably keep in there without them killing each other. I'll be letting the tank go through a fishless cycle for a while, so I'll have some time to look out for something to keep in it.

I'm definitely leaning toward LF L144. Money for them isn't a problem. It's the supply. They're hard to find. I'm not going to spend money on L46. Maybe in the future.

If I can't find the longfins, I'll probably do reg L144 or LF BN albinos. Unless I find something else I like.

I have one LFL144 and would really like a few more for my bigger tank when it's set up, so selfishly I vote that way.

L144 in long fine is hard to find. If you do pleco's do something no one else is doing on here. Like l144LF. or l46. I know if I could afford them. I could breed them. l201 and l102 are cool and no one breeds them here.
I my self have short fine Albino BN that breed true, long fine albino BN that breed true, and standerd BN that will start breeding soon. But I am looking for a male starlight l183. I have a female.
    Just My 2cents.

That was the plan. If I were to go with shellies, I was going to pick up some multis from you and Roy to get a mix.

You must be talking about long fin albino. Long fin L144 are hard to come by and expensive.

$5? I thought Mike sells them for $4. The Longfin L144 are much more expensive and rare. There's plenty of BN pleco breeders and shellie breeders. We have quite a few who are members here and there's others that aren't.

I actually breed them in my petro and tropheus tanks.
Is there a lot of demand (or decent demand?) for LF albino or L144? I know there's quite a number of people breeding reg L144 and reg albinos.

Those look great! Googled them and this picture popped up. I don't think it'll fit in my 20G.

I wanted to breed them, but it seems that nobody is selling them! They're like $25 a fry on old threads. If I can locate some LF L144, I'm definitely going that route.
