Water Hose for Cleaning and Filling your Aquarium

my bro tells me that by doing water changes every 2 weeks to 2 125gs he increased his monthly bill by $50-60 a month from when he didnt had a tank.
i was at an apartment with free water too so i didnt realized that. until now that i have to pay for water again.

That doesn't make any sense to me at all. Water isn't that expensive. Not where I live.

Yup. Shouldn't be a problem if you're only using to drain.

sorry i should had been more detailed, he does only 50% WC every 2 weeks. if you do 90% WC there will be more....

I had free water in the place we just moved from and its gonna be an adjustment to do 90% water changes and have to pay for it.... Now just gotta come up with a way to water the yard with the old water..... i like the fill side here just gotta get me the hose and some pvc itll be nice not holding the hose to fill or proping it up on something to keep in place

I went to Walmart and bought the 25ft white RV hose. The 1/2" CPVC fit tight inside the white RV hose. Then I added a couple on small tyraps for extra insurance.

The hose was $10.00 at Walmart.

Even before I use this RV drinking water hose, I will run water through it for about 5 minutes.

Nice! One word of caution for anybody making one from a new hose. Be careful what hose you buy as some garden hoses have chemicals in them to prevent mold from growing inside the hose and it can affect your beneficial bacteria.
