The cylinder has a 4" diameter. I need alot of power to get the water flowing. Maxi Jet 400's coming in soon. I think 108gph should do it. hahaha

ok finally, after stripping 6 more mature fry, i found a female with 7 wigglers and an unfertilized egg in her gullet.



If my count is right im up to 24 in the fry tank!!

just caught one that was holding to try it out. she was holding 9 fully developed fry! so into the fry tank they went.i'll have to try and catch one holding eggs next time around.

lol, no really. I use a bowl and fork to strip the females. Over time I find it's the fastest and easiest way for me.

Just a bowl of tank water. Hold the fish gently and use the fork to pry her mouth open. Slowly move her back and forth and the eggs/fry will just come out.

Hard part is catchin her.
