Are you shaking the reagent bottle and the test tube per instructions. The test will give a false reading if the test isn't performed per instructions?

So any thoughts on why my liquid kit would read zero nitrates twice? Too old perhaps? It's about a year old.

I just checked my master test kit all I could find was lot numbers no expiration dates
