Sounds like crappy screws and corrosion. If it is falling apart that easy should be pretty easy to drill it out.

i tried to grab it with pliers but the salt ate through the screw pretty bad it just chips off what ever i grab. i barely used any force to open the screw and it just broke.

stud extractor is what you need..

How clean did it break? The housing is plastic so you could manipulate the broken part out of the housing if there's any sort of burring to grab onto. Another way is to slot the whole thing and screw it out, the plastic part will still be in place for new screws and if you are using the pump submerged it won't be much of a problem.

You can try and get the extractor and left hand drill bit at Harbor Freight, not the greatest quality but I doubt you'll use it more than once and probably don't want to spend more than what a new pump would cost for a good set.

Harbor freight and quality shouldn't be used in the same sentence.

I've got the tools and the experience just bring it over you can stay and watch or if you dont have time just drop it off and I'll take care of it and you can pick it up.

Bring it over Ill get the screws out for you. I am a machinist and an air force machinist takes out alot of stuck fasteners
