Oh WOW! That's awesome! I got my cory and red tail shark on the same day, around eight years ago. Because the Cory had only one eye I didn't expect him to survive this long but he's still healthy as ever. I have no idea why I haven't added a few more but I plan too

There are lots of one-eyed Corys around : alive and kicking.

Defo take more : you'll notice "one-eye" will be thankfull and show different behaviour.

My Cories are max 7 (some adopted ones I don't know). But they can get uptill about 20-25 years for sure.

Can they be housed with African cichlids?

Doubt that's a good combination.
Most South American fish don't cope with the hard water most African cichlids need. This combination I've never seen !!

Nice! Always wanted to try some of those black corydoras or some of the Scleromystax barbatus. Currently only have 6-8 sterbais...

The fact the black ones are human / tankbred make me doubt about those. Natural ones are soooo nice !!!
