Is your garage insulated?

The garage is not insulated. I would like to bring the tank inside, but it wont fit via the door. Currently, the ray tank is around 89-92. Because of the heating, it cause the arows and rays to increase their metabolism. They are always hungray and all is having a growth spurt

The tank is in the garage. The temperature gets up to 95-97 degree. I have to take off my cover and replace it with eggcrate. I need alot of water movement. My bottom tank got fried because of the heat :(

I like your rays even if they were legal here the wife wouldn't let me have a tank big enough lol

Getting promission is harder then asking for forgiveness. My wife and I have made a deal, I get rid of 3 tank and i can get a bigger one. In her mind, she is thinking ( 2 x 55 and 1 x 150g for 1 x180 max). I say, "yeah yeah..." and then one day.... BAM!! brought home this beast. She was in a fury.

Wife, "You a##hole, who let you get that big tank"
Me: "you say i can get a bigger tank if i get rid of my old"
Wife: "not this monster.... I didnt know that make anything bigger then a 180. Go return it...NOW!!"
Me: "Oh, You wanted a 180. I didnt know; you say i can go big, so i went big :). Anyhoo, I cant return it since it is here now."

Wife..... Get mad for 2 week.
Me.....Happy as it can be :)

Moral.... When your woman approve you for an upgrade. Do it fast and leave out the details!! Dont even bring up the subject again, if you do. They will have second thought. The less they know about your plans, the better it is for you.

I try to limit feeding them anything raw or alive. I cant risk them getting sick :) So.... All they eat are pellet, pellet and more pellets
