I have Neolamprologus Brichardi. I got 4 at about an inch long for $4ea. It's when the brichardi are larger that you pay more. But a lot of Tang species are expensive period. I had a pair form in the first 3 days of having them and they quickly killed their other 2 tank mates. Now it's just mom, dad and fry.

I stopped by Extreme today. They had a tank of Trophs, don't know what kind, $45 each. I don't know how any one could not love those faces. They had a huge Comp. Huge to me any way. They had another Tang tank, I recognized the fish but can't remember their names off top my head.
I never looked at any thing other than mbuana and malawi until a few months ago. I can see why people go Tang crazy. Some one on another forum said that malawis are what the people want with all of their bright colors, but Tangs are Picasso.
My experience at Extreme is always great because they are such a nice family. The tanks were being cleaned and every thing looked so good. Go Extreme Fish & Pets!
And yes, I have 4 guppies in QT! :icon_hang:
