Just a python. I also use a 3/4" hose into a bucket to suck up the poop in between the rocks.

I do the reverse. 3/4" to drain tank and Python to work the rocks. Python is a smaller hose yes, yes it will take a bit more time but the 1/2" is plenty capable of getting in between the rocks. Just food for thought.

I think your tank is fine honestly. The white stringy poop you mentioned yesterday is an issue you should attack head on and treat the tank. Treating one fish doesn't mean you have removed the problem from the tank. Which is mostly coming from all the extra waste your seeing. (Unless I misread your post)

Adjust the power heads and watch the water you'll see how the adjustment effects everything. Give the tank time to resettle. Anytime you add even one fish, depending on where you tank is at, it can have large effects on the bio load of the tank. Time and water changes are you friend at this point.

Yes it is possible. Give it time to settle down. I'm going through the same thing at the moment with my troph tank. It's not visually please but it will go away.

What size hose are you using to do water changes?

All fish since the beginning of the setup, few were added 3 months ago. Jalo reefs added last month.

Your bio load may have shifted. That might be one reason the tank is cloudy.
