Since she's been holding for 3 days, I think the eggs are fertile.
I'm thinking I will let her hold for 17 days in the same tank. Then I will strip her. Knock on wood!!!
As far as feeding, I will test her temptation by dropping just a couple pellet in there.

Just my two cents, since it's her first time holding, let her hold. Give her some practice for being a mom, as there's a good chance the eggs aren't even fertile

There is a risk for option 1. She might be freaked out and spit in the net, then I have to tumble the eggs. Which is not what I want to do. ha..ha..

I'd go for option 1 in case she is getting stressed out from the other fish, otherwise I'd leave her there

Kilesa holding - WHAT TO DO?
Austin, I see what you mean. I agree.
Kilesa keeper on the box, please give me some advice please:
1. Should I separate the holding female for her to spit on her own?
2. Or should I strip her? and when should I strip her?
Thanks.

I meant why not hold off. She's already holding, might as well give her a shot to hold to term

Still holding strong. Should I hold off on feeding for a few days?
I stopped feeding 2/9.
