You can notice a higher quality of taste and feel. It lasts much longer and if you get a whole house unit, you eliminate the need for an extra single unit. Where I work, they use high quality whole house units for each faucet. The tap water that comes out tastes just as good if not better than Ozarka bottled water.

I think most are using the whole house or close, the single units are for RO/DI units and would probably exhaust a lot sooner the way most are doing water changes.
The water does not smell as bad and it does feel different.

Congrads. on the New Tank. The carbon filter is the best way to go with a tank that big. There is some DIY one But if you can aford it get the best one you can find...
