When did tropheus become popular?
I think most people (outside of Houston) really don't care much about them.
As far as recommendations:
1) illangi
2) red rainbows
3) moops
I believe picture renditions are fair.

True. They are indeed moody fish.Originally posted by moganman View PostReason why she wanted trophs is because of my fish. She loves when I stick an algae wafer in the tank and the fish pretty much eat out of my hand. Thing she doesn't understand is that fish are very moody as far as colors and she sees these photoshopped pictures on the web and thinks she's gonna have a tank full of the website fish. I have polli, canary cheek, and ikola. She doesn't favor any of them.
Those website fish are nice!
And wow, not even the canary cheeks or ikola? I somewhat like them and they are good lookin...
The feeding is pretty cool, but there are other fish that do that as well.

Yup! Just mentioned they aren't too "pretty" or much colorful at that. Despite that, I like looking at them and observing their behaviors, even though I've seen it for years before they were extremely popular.Originally posted by HERM View PostBeauty is in the eye of the beholder
