Yea I just haven't been able to get out to get any yet...

You can get a whole bag of large, cool-lookin' shells at Hobby Lobby for around 10 bucks.

what will you have for the top? as most if not all shell dwellers are bottom swimmers.

Man my shellie don't use the shell they swim with the tropheus hahah they only hide when it's water change time.

Still using two bottom holes running 2262. The manifold is there just capped the bulkheads....

so are you still using the bottom holes for regular filtration or did you plug them all off and are planning an over the rim filter setup?

The thing with shellies is they need shells to feel secure and happy, they also breed in them. So if you intend to breed them you would want to add about 15 - 20 shells. They also are fun to watch zipping in and out of the shells.
