My bulbs just burned out. I want to try the led light strips. Sunny has some for me I think. I didn't realize I hadn't posted any with my lights on yet! Thanks for reminding me.

No idea what a healthy growth rate is for fronts, but yours look to be in great shape. Good job and happy birthday to the Miks!

I was asked for an update on my Miks! Here are two pictures that I took of them today. Yesterday was their 1 year old birthday! They are all doing great and growing like crazy. My dominant male (who always hides) is almost as long as my hand. Several of them have a fairly good size hump on their head already! I may be moving to Spring within the next few months for my job and if that happens, I cannot wait to meet some of you and see your tanks! I am interested in planted tanks and discus fish so when I move, I may be looking into that for my 75 gallon tank that currently houses around 20 Mbuna cichlids. Let me know what you think about my Mikula's growth progress and their overall health. Thanks for asking about them!

I raised Cyp fry in a fry cage first then to a 10 gallon. Fed them NLS Baby Formula many times a day and they thrived.

Must say I really like the rustic look to the stand.

We had a tough time with our black bee cyp fry, eventually moving them to another grow out tank they hsare with a shellie colony and finally have one that survived over a month. Not sure what exactly is affecting them, but they just seem to waste away. The one we have left (out of 3 batches and nearly 10 offspring) is now approaching 2" and is healthy and eating well. They might do better in a bit larger tank with more room and less ostentatious rockdwellers.
