Got a few extra pieces of fossil rock so I went ahead and threw it in there for the fry.




Did water changes on this thing 2days in a row(playing with the tank next to it and thought why not) which was a 80% and then a 60%. On a normal basis, it gets 80% twice a week and it still won't stay clean.

Released the 11 fry that I kept in the nursery to give them a chance to put on a bit of size and pulled another female that was holding about the same time and she spat 8 more fry.

Still have 3 females holding.

Total count 59 Tropheus Brichardi Chibongbong!!!!.....

I was offered an amazing deal on a 180g, I am really considering it now with the way these guys are going.

Its all about the water changes and food.

Eklikewhoa do you use any other filter with your wet/dry?

I like to run canisters with my wet/dry but on this one being a 30g I barely fit a pro-clear 150 under the stand... hopefully I can squeeze a 2213 next to it. But right now it's just the wet/dry and a Emperor300 and two aqueon powerheads

Wet/dry alone will hold up more than enough though, people use to keep trophs perfectly fine with just HOB filter

Yeah, if you hack away at all the layers that is EK, you still end up with a Chuck Norris/Yoda hybrid, no hint of Segal/Van Damme. It's unreal. He knows, sees and IS everything.
