Heya supadave! It's not to keep on all the time. I was going to get a couple Koralia to turn on just a couple times a day, to help whatever poop and stuff has settled on the substrate to be picked up by the filter. I've seen this with several different frontosa setups, esp given that they're such messy eaters, and it works really well. And in several minute increments they usually do ok. I definitely will not leave them on all the time.Originally posted by supadave View PostThis is not a good idea . Fronts are deep water fish . They do not like a lot of flow . I had three groups of Fronts (Mpimbwe...Moba...and Burundi) and none of the liked a lot of flow . Especially not the amount of flow that a MP60 produces .

Nope. We're doin ok with the 2 AC110's for now... the Mobas are small and they've been in the tank only 8 days. The water's been great so far. We gotta add circ pumps first, and we'll probably add either a wet/dry next or switch out one of the AC110's for a canister soon.Originally posted by sunkenmetal View PostHave you added any eheim canister filters yet?

Have you added any eheim canister filters yet?Originally posted by aquabee View PostThanks!! Hoping to add to it in the next couple weeks. Need some bottom-dwellers, more plecos, some syno cats, and def circulation pumps. Long way to go but that's the fun of it!

I have 12 F1 Karema in my 125g. they are around 1-2.25". Karema is lighter in color compared to Moba. my fish are very fat and healthy. I enjoy raising them.Originally posted by aquabee View PostWhat kind of frontosa do you have? How old/big are they? Would love to see pics of your tank!
I am planning to change to darker substrate or mix some black sand to my white sand to darken it a little bit. i hope my fish will pop out more.
I have a LED blue light close to the background, so the blue color of my fish pop out when they come closer to the background-as seen in pic 3.

Well it is a good sign they are eating alot...Originally posted by aquabee View PostIt's more like they're fatties. I fed them til they were full and then put in the algae wafer for the pleco, and they went after that too. Guess they're foodies like me.
