I took a bunch of other pictures but they all came out so bad that I couldnt post em. I need someone with a nice camera to come over in exchange for a bunch of alchohol....I wonder if someone on here would be interested....Last edited by FrontosaurusRex; 04-19-2010, 02:51 PM.

Thanks for the gravel question replys.
Trying to make up my mind about gravel or sand.
I do want to use Aragonite or crushed coral. Not sure if I'm going to put it in my filters or as substrate. If it goes in the filters I'll probably order Tahitian Moon sand.

As soon as we finish showing our house to a potential buyer, I'll whip out the camera and get some shots. It'll be much later tonight but it'll get done....

I got it from a guy on here named Paul but he cant get any more of it. I'd try some Black Beauty sand. There are several people on here that know where to get it. Ask Cichlidfan or TatorTot, they know how to get it.

Interesting. Yeah, that would be neat to find out. It could be that they're still small. Many fish, when they're younger, tend to hang out in groups. I guess it's like the herd mentality of prey animals: safety in numbers. I'd be interested to know if they stay in this group once they get bigger.Originally posted by FrontosaurusRex View PostIt might be my imagination but these guys are very curious and they are constantly roaming around all over the tank as a colony. My Mpimbwe didnt do this. They usually grouped together in the middle of the tank towards the top and chilled there for 12 hours a day. The Burundi I had never formed a group, they just swam around independently. I'm not sure if this is a trait with each species of Frontosa but it'd be a cool experiment to find out.
Uh-oh...here we go again.Originally posted by FrontosaurusRex View Posti'll get some pics at some point tomorrow. I got the computer back. YEAH!!

Completely under that!
At least you got a lot and can weed out some males a long the way.
I always love fronts since I was a kid.
Could my new tank be for fronts?
Post up some pictures again!

nope, i'm not ballin THAT hard. LOL. I went with the smaller ones so I could afford more of them. They are all around the 3" mark right now but in just a few weeks they already look a little bigger...maybe its my imagination again.Originally posted by myjohnson View PostDid you get the biggest ones?
