Thanks for the gravel question replys.

Trying to make up my mind about gravel or sand.

I do want to use Aragonite or crushed coral. Not sure if I'm going to put it in my filters or as substrate. If it goes in the filters I'll probably order Tahitian Moon sand.

    I know, I know...LOL

As soon as we finish showing our house to a potential buyer, I'll whip out the camera and get some shots. It'll be much later tonight but it'll get done....

I got it from a guy on here named Paul but he cant get any more of it. I'd try some Black Beauty sand. There are several people on here that know where to get it. Ask Cichlidfan or TatorTot, they know how to get it.

Where did you score the black gravel?

I'm thinking about it for my 125 and all i've seen is caribe sea tahitian moon.

I'm not sure if this is a trait with each species of Frontosa but it'd be a cool experiment to find out.
Interesting. Yeah, that would be neat to find out. It could be that they're still small. Many fish, when they're younger, tend to hang out in groups. I guess it's like the herd mentality of prey animals: safety in numbers. I'd be interested to know if they stay in this group once they get bigger.

    Completely under that!

At least you got a lot and can weed out some males a long the way.

I always love fronts since I was a kid.

Could my new tank be for fronts?

    Post up some pictures again!

nope, i'm not ballin THAT hard. LOL. I went with the smaller ones so I could afford more of them. They are all around the 3" mark right now but in just a few weeks they already look a little bigger...maybe its my imagination again.
