The Gombe are just now showing spawning behavior again...can't guarantee any for quite awhile, if at all. I was just recommending them because I like them. And actually I was thinking something like Ophthalmotilapia boops "Kipili"...I think they're also known as "Neon Streak", as I recall

I like Charles' idea : Ophtahlmotilapia ventralis Gombe or Ophtahlmotilapia ventralis Nundo -- Charles have Gombe I believe, if you decide on that strain ask him if he has any fry for sale.

Trophs colonies are awesome.. I have several myself.. Then again I love my Cyps and Xeno's too...

Your pretty cool in knowing who has what and where......

I did not mean that you knew who the exporter and importers were.. That was not what I meant...

You have a good set of friends down there, good with people, helpful with information and courteous to those looking for good information..

I got nothing on Geoff dude. I know some of the newer exporters/importers but geoff knows most importer/exporters going back 10 years. I only been in the game for 4 years now. They don't call Geoff the King for nothing!

Might I suggest one of the infamous tours that have occurred from time to time.........

There are several posts that have talked about that. If you indicate an interest in seeing what other HFB fishkeepers are keeping, you will probably get some invitations. Thai (MJ) can steer you into some really nifty people's setup. I believe that Thai and Geoff are the socialites when it comes to knowing who is who with fish in the trophs / petro regions.... and elsewhere....

Lots of good people down there with lots of good fish... Check out the gallery too to see what catches your fancy and eye..

You can never go wrong with Trophs. They are plentiful in Houston and if you are breeding them, you'll make your money back eventually. I personally am a little bias towards Frontosas though. Let us know what you decide.
