Its Tuesday....and my chicken fish...well...is STILL being a chicken.
I have had guppy fry with more aggression!

i had a male jag i got when he was less then an inch.
and he grew to 11"tl in my old 4ft 50g.

they will eat culls until they cant hardly move.

i would honestly though, considering the happyness of the fish, and how frickin cool leaf fish are, i would say leaf fish all the way!

ohhhhhhhhhhh yeah you need a jag... it is not a picky eater... loves little fish..well anything it's size or smaller... and surprisingly it can grow pretty large in a 50gallon tank.

For now, just be patient with the ahli. How big are the culls you normally throw in that tank?

Culls can be newborn fry, to adult...just depends on the day. And what tank I am culling.

when do you plan on being back in houston? i still have some 2-3" trimacs.

Prolly not for another couple months...got some stuff that is ging to have to be done with the doctors, and the holidays will keep me at home. I hope to be able to make the christmas party...but no guarantees

lol... not if you get males or females... not both... They are pretty easy to sex so you should not have too much of a problem

Yah...but still..they are plague rats. My luck I would end up with one that would mroph to the other sex...and have babies anyways!

really depends on what you are looking for and where you are going to buy.

On craigslist or here im sure you could get 2-3 fish for anywhere from free to under 15$, At a fish store you will probably spend min. $15 fr three fish, and lot more depending on the fish and size.

I dont know how you feel about petco, but i think saw some smaller sized mixed africans on sale for 3.99 each.

Ide try asking on here... im sure someone will have somethng you like that they could give you or trade for(just dont know about the drive you may have to make to pickup).

Another cheaper alternative would perhaps be some male or female convicts(not both becuase you would have millions in a month).

Oh no nonononononon...no convicts...then I would have to get something to eat the convict babies
