Lol, I actually got a letter from the HOA regarding my weekend activties and the increase number of dead birds near my house. They "claim" they saw me sitting out back with the bb rife. I asked them to produce pictures but they got nothing on me.

Tamron has some good comparable lenses to canon but cheaper (havn't compared them to nikon since I don't have one). I was actually thinking about heading down to corpus this summer. Doing some birding and maybe hit up the aquarium they got there. I've actually heard a ton of people going down there to go birding. There are some people that do it in or around galveston.

    Sweet!

Birds are bad@$$. I don't keep them but they are a cool subject to shoot.

I think tamron vs. nikkor is the same as tamron vs. canon.

Tamron makes very nice lens for the price. It basically does everything the "name brand" lens do but cheaper.

I just like name brands b/c I think they hold value better over time.

Post up some pictures of the birds when you take them.

On the subject of birds, I been seeing a bunch of dead ones downtown when I walk to work. Kind of freaky honestly.

Maybe I'll take some macro shots of dead birds and post those!
