i have a rena xp3 and a proclear 150 wet dry with a mag 7...i used to have another rena xp3 but it wasnt really necessary so i took it off...i have around 12 times turnover between the wet dry and the xp3.

No doubt the tank is packed and the bio load is crazy, cross breeding isnt a problem with geos either so thats good. most of my geos are either WC or F1.

why do you say crossbreeding isn't a problem with geos ? they seem to be close enough related that it might be a possibilty?

well there are many sub species of altifrons and what are commonly labeled "surinamensis" but ive never witnessed them courting or attempting to breed with any others besides their own species. Ive never heard of a case of cross breeding either. just my thoughts.

                    NOICE!!!

as far as geos crossbreeding, when i was breeding them im my old 75g's, i had several different sp. of altifrons kept together and they always managed to breed with their own variant.

aswell as the red head tapajos pair and red head araguias they also had no problems differentiating between their sp.

over 20sp of geos bred for me in these tanks and crossbreeding never accurred.
                    FRENCH FRY!!!
