  • WTS: 165g RR Acrylic Tank and Stand

My father-in-law is building his 10k gal pond so he's wanting to sell his tank. Up for sale is a 165g RR Hex Acrylic Tank with Stand and matching canopy. I'm not too sure what kind of tank it is, but was told the setup was $2k brand new. The acrylic has some scratches, but not too bad.

    dimensions - 72x24x29

Tank, stand, canopy, PC lights, and complete homemade wet/dry (30g sump). - $800

Tank, lights, stand, and canopy only for $650

I'll try to get some pictures up shortly.

Geoff, aren't you moving to a bigger place? Bigger place = more tanks! MB needs an upgrade.

                Man,

If I had a way to get it to San Antonio and if the timing was better, I would be alllllll over this one.

The dimensions (72x24x29) add up to 217 gallons....

You have to account for the sides that does not make it a full rectangle. I thought the tank was closer to 180g, but 165g was what I was told.

I'm taking the kids to seaworld in 2 weeks, I can drop it off at your place! :)

I wish I could get it, but I've been paying for a brand new baby girl for the last two and a half weeks. So the timing isn't right due to lack of funds. I really wish I could though. I can do somethings with that. 50 Green Muragos would be tight.

The tank is a flat back hex.

It IS a very nice tank, though.
