@Tim, not sure about assassin and eggs. I have breed ABN in a tank with assassin but I removed the male with the eggs in about 5 days. In those 5 days I don't think the snails tried anything.
@grant, from what I know these fish where never in a breeding group.I ate my fish that died.

I think they are still settling in. Still a lot of fighting going on and males moving from cave to cave. Actually, only recently have a few of them started coming out and feeding in the open. I normally don't even see them eat. I do see a fish that looks like a berried female but all the males are either too young or not settled in yet.
I've read reports of zebras breeding at 3 years but that seems like the exception and not the rule. A lot of people are reporting 4 and 5 years breeding for the first time. Hell a lot of people report their fish not breeding at all.I ate my fish that died.

I don't trust that shiii son. I do plan on doing two things to see if it will effect the fish in anyway. 1) reposition either the flow or the caves so that water is not flowing into the caves. 2) do small WC with RO/DI. I tested my TDS and it's 380 in the tank right now.I ate my fish that died.

The alder cones would slowly drop the params to their liking.
I been slowly adding them to my crs tank along with the IAL and getting more berried females, also noticed the colors getting more solid now too.700g Mini-Monster tankComment

What are the sizes of your zebras? They probably need to be conditioned for a few months.Comment
