  • What is the best way to remove water stain and calcium for aquarium?

People recommend using vinegar, but with hard stain and calcium it would take a long time. There are calcium on the frame and center brace too. What is your method?

This is for a used tank and there's no fish in it at the moment. Thanks.

The best way to have no lime residue is:

        Buy a new tank!

However, the vinegar technique is the most popular way.

ptran take the aquarium outside. Use shock and water mixture the take calcium deposits off. Easy way is the lay aquarium on side and pour a strong mixture on deposits. Chemistry will take your deposits off. Calcium a base and shock an acid.

Also just read that thread on the original magic eraser, might be worth a test?
