Snail eggs are pink, but very likely that these are mystery snail eggs.

Not all mystery snail lay pink eggs. Some are white and other are a pinkish reddish color. True apple snails have pink eggs too.

I've seen those caves before. Won't they lay eggs in pvc or anything else? My albino used to hang in the coconut cave but doesn't seem to any more. They're all out today sucking on an apple. LOL

I did a net search and mystery snail eggs makes sense. I've had a few MS in the past but none ever laid eggs that I saw, so it just didn't dawn on me. I think my nerite laid eggs in the brackish tank. There's tons of trumpet snails in there but lately I'm seeing some tiny guys with a different shell.

Anything dark and seclusive will work as far as pleco cave goes, but my pleco love that cave.

It is the males that like the caves so much. Each male should have it's own.

Yes my males are fighting for the cave all the time. I just recently bought another one and set it at the opposite corner of the tank.
