    I observed they require high light , pressurized co2 and EI dosing to form carpet. ..... if u r using liquid ferts then ill suggest you to switch to KNO3 , KH2PO4 N K2SO4 direct dosing....i tried liquid ferts as well....but they r no use

      Hair grass is my white whale lol. I have the lights, the co2 and the frets but to no avail. Going to try again on a 20L and see if I have more success

        Some suggestions:

        1. Plant heavier and increase CO2.
        2. When making water changes, spray infected areas, including spray bar with 3% hydrogen peroxide.
        3. After CO2 is optimized you can dose with Excel or Metricide (gluraraldehyde). You need to be good with math to apply correct dosage.
