Treat scratch eye

Fish lovers,
Any tips on how to treat a scratched eye? I think she darted into the etchy rock and injured herself.

In the past, when I don't do anything except schedule water change (50% once a week), it's hit and miss. Sometimes it goes away, sometimes the fish got a cloudy eye and eventually went blind. Thanks for any tips!

Quarantine and try some melafix and salt, but be sure to increase oxygenation of the water

Thanks Austin. Just finish water change and turn light off. End up doing 70% water change. Will add some epsom salt to help her relax. I decides not to quarantine because I don't have a tank ready. Cross my fingers.

Oh use some aquarium salt as well. Forgot about that stuff

Use aquarium salt not Epsom salt.

Thanks Barrett. I figure it would take a few days to see progress. I don't have aquarium salt on hand, but will try to get some this weekend.

Both are good stuff just for different stuff. Aquarium salt is good for wounds. And helping to replace electrolytes that are lost due to stress or injury.
