    Moss should be pretty easy to take care of. Actually I don't have to do anything lol
    On the contrary, the stem is not so hot.

          I would just ditch the Java moss. I know it's more a less a weed, but it's growing up a 2ft stump in the middle of a hexagon tank with anubias nana petite tucked in here & there.
          It is a junky plant but it's in an unusually well-done application.

            The last time I had Java moss it was beautiful like yours.
            It eventually covered the bottom of a 40g tall, 3" deep.

              I'll give you a chunk of mine and see how you do with it then.
              I'm telling you this is an unusual case that really doesn't make much sense.
              That original chunk of moss from which it grew was cursed I tells ya.
              I shoulda nailed it to a stake and set it on fire the first day I laid eyes on it all those years ago, sickly sight that it was.
