I would also say call Aqua Zoo since it's in our area. but I don't know if they have them. They can order them for you, but then Aquabid still may be a better route to go depending on price.
City pets has had them for a few months, they are smaller - 1-2"tl. they also have f1 subadult regulars, 2.5""tl.
~$10 for the electrics - ~$15 for the regs.
Call Fish and Pets Ranch. Good people. Great fish. Nice prices. Filthy store. Clean tanks. Go figure.
I just bought some juvies there a few weeks ago. $10ea

P.S. Cover your tank. Acaras love to jump out.
The Acara have already paired up and produced eggs. I didnt notice until the 1 of the Acara's attacked me as i was cleaning the glass. Whats the likelihood these hatch? The severum have been lingering around waiting for the opportunity to eat them, so I'm sure fry would stand no chance.
As you stated, no chance unless you have a lot of cover: rocks, plants...
They will need their own tank if you want to breed and raise fry.

The eggs fell down to the sand and are wiggling around down there. Is that why they're called wigglers? What's the next phase the eggs go thru? Just curious
