  • Id this snail please

    I believe I got some snail eggs from the moss I bought recently. They multiply fast. I see about 10 of them now at about 1/2".

    Who is this guy? Is he a threat?

            Looks like a Ramshorn to me, but would need a pic from a different angle. Pond, Bladder, Ramshorn, and MTS are always hitchhiking in on live plants. Assassin snails are quite effective against them, but take awhile to get them under control if left to breed for awhile.

              Thanks. I google Ramshorn, and there are ton of pic looking like this guy in my tank. Except this guy has pokey dot on the shell.

                    Interesting. I have brown and pink ramshorns but they stay pretty much the same as they grow.
